For small law offices

Law offices: calls missed in court get answered, with conflict-check names ready.

I build small tools for the front office of a small law firm: a text back when the attorney is in court, an intake form that collects everyone involved before the first call, and an assistant for routine office questions. It works next to your practice management software, and you approve every message.

Hi, this is an automatic text from Example Law Office. Sorry we missed your call. Attorney Dana is in court this morning. Can we help by text?
Hi yes. My dad passed in March and we need help with his estate. My brother and I don't agree on what to do with the house
On your phoneNew intake ready for review: probate, Marcy Lindgren, (641) 555-0142. Others involved: Tom Lindgren (brother), estate of Gary Lindgren. Prefers a call. Tap to review.

The real problem

The phone rings while you're in court.

You're in court all morning. A new client calls about an estate and gets voicemail. Many people with a legal problem call the next name on the list.

When you do reach them, the first call is spent getting names for the conflict check and basic facts, before you can even say whether you can help.

Many small offices pay for top-tier plans, answering minutes, review tools and intake platforms to get texting, booking and reminders.

Try it on your phone

What the law office demo shows

It's a made-up office called Example Law Office. Open it on your phone and tap through it the way your customer would. Nothing in it is live, so poke around.

  1. New client intake

New clients fill this in on their phone before they come in, including the names of everyone involved for the conflict check. No clipboard, no retyping.

  2. Missed call while the attorney is in court

Marcy calls about her dad's estate while Dana is in court. She gets a text, fills in the intake on her lunch break, and Dana gets a reminder to call her after court with the conflict names listed.

  3. A question assistant on the website

People get an answer to routine office questions at 9 p.m. instead of calling tomorrow. When it doesn't know, it takes a message instead of guessing.

The monthly bills

What law offices often pay each month

These are tools law offices often pay a monthly bill for, at published or reported prices. Each price links to where it came from.

Clio Essentials for one attorney plus Lawmatics comes to $288 a month at those prices.

What usually stays: your practice management tool, LawPay and QuickBooks. What I build takes over the missed-call replies, intake form, reminders and routine questions.

Prices are what each linked page showed when I checked on October 23, 2026. Vendors change prices, and several sources are reviews or comparison sites rather than the vendor's own page, so check your own bill. I don't list my prices here. You get one written price after the free walkthrough.

How it works

How working with me goes

Every office is different, so I don't guess from the outside. The first look is free, and nothing gets built until you've said yes to one written price.

STEP 1

Free walkthrough

A 20-minute call, or a free 2-minute video built for your office. You tell me what eats your time. I tell you straight if I can fix it.

STEP 2

One price, in writing

A short write-up and one price before you pay anything. No hourly meter. If I can't build it, no charge.

STEP 3

Built around what you use

Your practice management tool, LawPay and QuickBooks stay. The new tool works next to them, so your staff doesn't learn a new system.

STEP 4

You approve every message

You read and okay the wording before the tool sends anything, and you can change it any time.

STEP 5

You own it

It's yours outright. It keeps working whether or not we ever talk again.

STEP 6

Up and running

Most tools are working in 2 to 4 weeks from your yes. I'm a phone call away if something needs a change.

Remote or in person, same price. I'm based in Mason City, Iowa. If your office is in North Iowa, I'll come sit at your desk. Anywhere else, we do it over a screen share: you see what I see, and you're talking to me the whole time, not a team you never meet.

Straight answers

Questions law offices ask

Does the text-back ask for case details?

No. In the demo, it asks the caller to fill in the intake first so you can run a conflict check before they share details.

Will the assistant give legal advice?

No. It answers office questions like hours and what to bring. Anything else becomes a message for you.

Do we have to leave Clio or MyCase?

No. Your practice management stays where it is. The tool works next to it.

Do you only work with law offices in Iowa?

No. If you're in North Iowa, I'll come to you. Everywhere else, we work over a screen share, which is how most software gets built anyway. Your zip code doesn't change the price.

What does it cost?

It depends on what your office needs, so I don't post prices. The walkthrough is free and ends with one price in writing. A one-time tool is a one-time price, and if I can't build it, there's no charge. Texting and hosting have a small monthly bill in your own name, and I'll show you that number up front too.

Let's talk

Tell me what's eating your time.

One free call, or a free 2-minute video of what this would look like in your law office office. If there's nothing worth building, I'll tell you that too.
