For lawn care & landscaping companies

Lawn care: rain days stop meaning forty calls before breakfast.

I build small tools for lawn care and landscaping outfits: a mowing ballpark by lot size, one tap that tells the whole route about rain, and polite follow-ups on quotes that went quiet. It works next to your job software, and you approve every message.

Tuesday · Rain day marked
Hi Linda, this is an automatic text from Example Lawn & Landscape. Too wet to mow today, so your mow at 218 Maple St moves to Wednesday. Reply 1 if that works, 2 if you need a different day.
2. We have Kayla's grad party Saturday, any chance Thursday instead so it looks fresh?

The real problem

It rains, and every customer calls.

A wet morning pushes the whole route. Then the phone starts: are you still coming, when will you be here, can you do Thursday instead. You spend the rain day on the phone.

In the spring, quote requests pile up faster than you can drive out to measure. The quotes you do send often sit with no answer.

Many outfits move up to a bigger plan for two-way texting and quote follow-ups, or pay for a review platform or answering service that costs hundreds a month.

What the lawn care demo shows

It's a made-up company called Example Lawn & Landscape. Open it on your phone and tap through it the way your customer would. Nothing in it is live, so poke around.

  1. Mowing estimate by lot size

Customers get a ballpark price on the spot, with the math shown, and send the request when it fits their budget.

  2. Rain pushes Tuesday's route

One tap tells everyone on today's route when you'll be back. When Linda needs Thursday for a grad party, you approve it with a tap and she gets a confirmation.

  3. Quotes waiting on an answer

Each quote that goes quiet gets a polite follow-up on schedule until someone answers. Nobody has to remember.

The monthly bills

What lawn care companies often pay each month

These are tools lawn care companies often pay a monthly bill for, at published or reported prices. Each price links to where it came from.

What usually stays: your job and route software and your accounting. What I build takes over the rain-day texts, quote follow-ups, review asks and missed-call replies.

Prices are what each linked page showed when I checked on October 23, 2026. Vendors change prices, and several sources are reviews or comparison sites rather than the vendor's own page, so check your own bill. I don't list my prices here. You get one written price after the free walkthrough.

How it works

How working with me goes

Every company is different, so I don't guess from the outside. The first look is free, and nothing gets built until you've said yes to one written price.

STEP 1

Free walkthrough

A 20-minute call, or a free 2-minute video built for your company. You tell me what eats your time. I tell you straight if I can fix it.

STEP 2

One price, in writing

A short write-up and one price before you pay anything. No hourly meter. If I can't build it, no charge.

STEP 3

Built around what you use

Your job and route software and your accounting stay. The new tool works next to them, so your crew doesn't learn a new system.

STEP 4

You approve every message

You read and okay the wording before the tool sends anything, and you can change it any time.

STEP 5

You own it

It's yours outright. It keeps working whether or not we ever talk again.

STEP 6

Up and running

Most tools are working in 2 to 4 weeks from your yes. I'm a phone call away if something needs a change.

Remote or in person, same price. I'm based in Mason City, Iowa. If your company is in North Iowa, I'll come sit at your desk. Anywhere else, we do it over a screen share: you see what I see, and you're talking to me the whole time, not a team you never meet.

Straight answers

Questions lawn care companies ask

Can I still approve changes customers ask for?

Yes. When someone asks for a different day, it shows up on your phone with one tap to approve, like Linda's Thursday request in the demo.

Do I have to leave Jobber or Service Autopilot?

No. Your job software stays. If you moved up a plan only for texting or quote follow-ups, we'll look at whether you still need it.

I plow in the winter too. Does that matter?

No. The same kind of tools work for snow: signups, storm texts and follow-ups. There's a snow removal page and demo too.

Do you only work with lawn care companies in Iowa?

No. If you're in North Iowa, I'll come to you. Everywhere else, we work over a screen share, which is how most software gets built anyway. Your zip code doesn't change the price.

What does it cost?

It depends on what your company needs, so I don't post prices. The walkthrough is free and ends with one price in writing. A one-time tool is a one-time price, and if I can't build it, there's no charge. Texting and hosting have a small monthly bill in your own name, and I'll show you that number up front too.

Let's talk

Tell me what's eating your time.

One free call, or a free 2-minute video of what this would look like in your lawn care company. If there's nothing worth building, I'll tell you that too.
