Your glasses are on the way
Customers get a text at each step, so the "is it ready yet?" calls stop. Each update is one tap for your team.
Each time the front desk updates an order, the patient gets a text, so nobody has to call and ask.
The job, step by step
- 1Ordered
- 2At the lab
- 3Being checked
- 4Ready for pickup
- 5Still waiting
Each update is one tap for your team (or it goes out when the job's status changes in the system you already use).
Annual exam recall
Anyone due or overdue gets a friendly text with a way to book, instead of someone working down a call list.
Patients who are due or overdue for their yearly visit get a friendly nudge until they book.

Review ask after pickup
After each job, the customer gets one polite text with a direct link to leave a review. Everyone gets the same ask, with no filtering, which is what Google's rules require.
The scene
Megan picked up new glasses in the morning. About two hours later she gets the same review request every patient gets. Two days later she asks about a free adjustment.
What happens

The money part
What an eye care business often pays every month, and what it could keep
These are the tools eye care owners most often pay a monthly bill for, at their published or reported prices. Tick the ones you pay for, pick your plan, or type your real bill. The math is yours to check.
Keep Weave on Base Plan ($199/mo). Praxis adds the extra texting and review features you moved up for.

Worth replacing if you mostly use reminders and review requests.
What Praxis builds instead: review-request texts after each job, two-way texting from your own number and missed-call text-back.

The other side of the money: the work that slips away today. Type in your own numbers.
The starting numbers are examples for a typical eye care business, not yours. Type your own; nothing you type leaves this page. A review of 29 studies found reminders cut missed appointments by about a third on average (Hasvold & Wootton, Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare). Source
Who builds it
One person you can call
I'm Chris, and I run Praxis AI Solutions out of Mason City, Iowa. When something needs changing, you call or text me, not a support line. In the real version, your front desk marks an order as sent to the lab, back in the office, or ready, and the patient gets the matching text without anyone picking up the phone. Patients who are due or overdue for their annual exam get a polite nudge, and everyone who picks up glasses gets the same review request a couple of hours later. You read and approve every message before anything goes live, and you can change the wording any time.
(641) 530-2599- One price, in writing, before you pay a dime.
- Nothing sends, posts or charges without your okay.
- You own what I build. It keeps working even if we never talk again.
- If I can't build it, there's no charge.
In person around North Iowa; anywhere else over a screen share. Same price, same person.
